Had my car for 2 years before I decided to change anything on the inereior and this is the first thing I did to the interior. Great $10 mod!
I was looking for the silver piping to match the upgrade trim inside but couldn't find it so I went with the old Brittney Blue to match the car color.
Still looking for the Silver. Maybe have two colors to change out depending on how I feel. Sorta like the old Tennis shoes with the colored inserts.

on a side note, did you see the thread on the clear brake lense? It's now available, but I can't bring myself to spend $115 for it...

Yea, I just took them out and started around back/towards the window. They don't go all the way around, but you can't see that side anyways. I really needed some blue up there, and at one point I was gonna try to dye the visors, so this is much better....

Not to get off topic, but what kind of clear brake lens is available, b/c I have had mine since the summer. Here is a pic...it is not fully clear, as you can see in the pic, but it is LED and makes the taillights look even more LED like b/c of it.

Just did mine yesterday. I decided to go with black, and although it isn't as noticeable as the colored welting, I think it gives it a nice factory finish. I originally wanted to go with silver or charcoal, but with the painted window plates, I thought it was too much.

RedDragon make sure you get some pics of that red on the dash I'd love to see it.
I did mine yesterday and I had to cut alot more off than I thought to get it to fit.It looks awesome thou, I wish I'd done it sooner. I'll get some pics up this week, I'm getting my windows tinted soon so I'm wait for that.
GREAT $10 mod!

The color I used was from MrMikes, and was called Electric Blue. Its brighter than Vista, but I wanted it to stand out a little. The darker blues just didn't make the interior pop enough. But now that MrMilkes.com isn't selling his welts to us anymore , you have to find anything that will work. Don't go too dark, as you won't see a big enough contrast between the door panel and the welt.

Well, I have the VB GT\CS with the black stripe that is kind of hidden Black on Blue), So I might go with the dark Blue to give the opposite effect (Blue on Black) on the inside. Not really noticable unless you are looking for it. We will see how it looks. I like the visors too, will have to check that out. Either way the piping gets rid of the gap on the door panels and puts a nice finish.
