Where do you buy it? All these posts about the fix and none have any info on where to buy the felt/moleskin.

I picked up some sheets of felt at a craft store (Micheals Crafts). Black with sticky on back. Works like a charm.

Are the people with scrathes having NON-metallic tint put on, or just standard stuff? The ceramic and metal tints are supposed to be resistant to scrating. I have put off tinting for a year because I'm afraid of ruining the tint. I had metallic Formula one tint on my last car, forgot and rolled the window down in a drive through the same day I tinted them. It had somehow stuck to the liner and actualy pulled it partly down. Had to roll the window back up to pull it back and snap it into place. Still it didn't scratch my tint, even enduring plastic clips running against it.

I have metallic tint in my car and it is scratched to #$%^. You need to install felt or moleskin if you don't want scratches. I just haven't gotten around to fixing mine.

Thanks for the information. I hadn't thought about trying Micheal's. Do they carry the moleskin mentioned or is it just regular felt with a glue backing? Have you had it on your car long?

My concern, even if that stops the scratching , is having to keep sticking the felt back on because the glue gets warm and lets loose after a while. If it has been holding up I guess I will head to Nashville and pick some up next week.

If I'm going to put something on myself rather than Ford doing the right thing and correcting their mistake, I want it to be a permanent fix.

Only had it on for a bit now. Have not had it on during the summer months so cant tell you about the glue. I was trying to find a full replacement on-line but cant find one for an 05 yet. I figure this will prevent anything from happening until I find something better.
