I'm wanting to remove the trim pieces around the sterio to paint them. How do they com off? I'm afraid to just pull. Anyone know how to remove? Here's some pics to show the pieces I want off.

although this is a thread to do an install for a stereo adapter it also shows you how to take off the parts you are asking about.

Basically, what you need to do is first remove the top portion of the middle floor console. To do that all you have to do is unscrew both cross tip screws near the hinge. Then you can just pull the two side panels out that are on the sides of the stereo. These just snap in so there are no screws. Just make sure to pull towards the rear of the car when you take them out, not outward toward the doors. then you only have about 6 to 8 screws to take off the stereo center console. And that is it!

Awesome guys!!! I knew you'd pull through for me again. They'll be off after dinner.

Follow Tacobills antenna install, just stop when you've removed the radio
