Guys,
My '05 GT didnt come with the IUP but I want to get a leather/vinyl insert into the door. Does anyone know how it is achieved and if it can be achieved?
Thanks

Many people have already bought the original materials and cut them to fit in the door panel cove. It is simply acheived by gluing it in place with a quality spray adhesive, laying it down smmoth then trimming the perimeter with a sharp Xacto knife along the recessed groove of the cove perimeter. It's really a simple mod that won't take long to do yourself. However an automotive upholstry shop can do it for you if you are not cmfortable doing it yourself.

Some people have the IUP door inserts already but added them to the coves in the rear seat quarter panel areas where Ford neglected to nclude them.

Thumbs up

I did the rear interior panels, see the write-up here http://www.cherod.com/mustang/HowTo/IupRear.htm To be honest, there's no way I'd want to tackle the doors. As it is, I've had the rear pieces in place for nearly a year in the SW FL heat and they're still firm with no bubbles or loose spots. However, the piece on the driver's side, which is the first one I did, has started to come up alone one of the edges. This is purely error on my part since I didn't cut it along the right line, which was corrected on the passenger side piece. So in the next month or so, I'll be redoing the driver's side. Other than that, if you take your time and read the instructions on that link, you'll be fine

They are pretty much done the same way Ford does them, with the exception that they probably have pre-cut patterns before they adhere them to the doors.
