Guage cluster lights

Not sure if this is already an old post, if so. i couldnt find the right keyword to search for it. Question:I have the normal interior for a GT ( ie. the non colour changing gauge lights) .. When i have my driving lights on. The guage lights are white. When i turn my headlights on.. they go Green. Anyone got any ideas how to either bypass or disable the green so they are always white ??Thx in advance.BeavGT

Yeah, we've been through that a long time ago. As I recall, someone got so far as to determine the location of it on the cluster, but never figured out how to re-wire / solder it to make it change. Everybody is too scared to brick their cluster I guess.

Faber swapped his LEDs in the cluster to do this. If I remember there is 16 surface mount Leds and each have 4 posts. You can upgrade to the Mycolor cluster to achieve what you want. They will run you about 250 dollars for the cluster plus the cluster will need to be programmed for your mileage at the cluster center and then programed to work with your car by the dealer. You will also need to see if you have the wiring for the switches. More info below
