Don't settle for "One Size Fits All" pedals.
We are off to the races; starting the group buy.
Pedals are 6061-T CNC aluminum.
Smooth finish not recommended for Brake Pedals; like duuuuh
Group Buy discount is:
Greater than 5 sets; 25% off
Greater than 10 sets; 30& off
Greater than 20 sets; 35% of
Making a gas & Brake set cost $60-$90 depending on finish + any engraving.
If my math is correct and we get >20 for the max discount prices are approximately;
Smooth
Shiny Gas = 25 Brake = 35 Dead Pedal = 29
Frosted Gas = 28 Brake = 38 Dead Pedal = 32
AntiSlip
Shiny Gas = 35 Brake = 45 Dead Pedal = 42
Frosted Gas = 38 Brake = 48 Dead Pedal = 45
B) Group buy sign up from now to Sept 9th
Then plan:
Place and pay for your order online w/UltimatePedals
One week for them to manufacture
One week to deliver
20 minutes to install and hours to gloat
You will have to orders directly with Ultimate Pedals (http://www.ultimatepedals.com/home.htm )
Will have to identify yourself when placing the order with "TheMustangSource" group buy.
Open to any Mustanger under this group buy. Any year mustang.
I just have to be contacted prior to finalizing the order to coordinate names. Again orders will be directly with Ultimate Pedals
Group buy discount to all of their products (Brake, Gas, Dead. Heel rest) EXCEPT engraving, only aluminum pedals.
Will make to custom size. I ordered a larger (5 5/8 x 2 1/4) automatic brake pedal instead of the standard (3 5/16 x 1 13/16). They also have Heel/Toe set-ups.
Engraving costs per pedal:
Cobra = $25
Running Pony = $20
Pony w/TriBar = $25
GT = $10
Ford = $15
or up to 3 initials. Believe they will also make special engravings at extra charge. Again engravings are not subject to group buy pricing.
To start out we have:
05FORTGT, Thanks for initiating this
WOODY1; gotta get the dead pedal
JERSEYGIRL
MUSTANG69-05
NOLE_TRAINER
PATCANNONE
6 down; 14 to go

OK, someone with a real car. Could you suggest some measurements for gas, brake and clutch. My car is not here, and I want them to fit well, and I want them to install properly. Thanks!!!!!

Anyone have any opinions on the dead pedal options? I'm trying to decide if I should go with the flange on the side or not. Also what about the heel and toe extensions? Has anyone ever had pedals with these on them and if so did you like them????
Woody, I like the idea of a larger brake pedal like you're doing. Are you changing the size of the gas too?

Add me to this list.
jerseygirl, I think heal and toe extensions are for manuel transmissions. Some people will use the brake with their heal and gas with their toe while taking off from a stop on hills. As well as on road courses.

We're past the 25% discount; closing in on the >10 for a 30% discount.
Or we could say almost half-way to the 35% discount.
E-mailed our local mustang club members letting them know of this deal. Also posted on another smaller site I'm a member of. The more the better for all of us.
Will give directions for ordering later next week.

I'm getting the dead pedal w/flange. I've seen some of the flat installed; something missing to me
Decided against a larger gas pedal. IMO My foot is heavy enough as is; don't need more pedal to put to the metal. Just felt the brake pedal on an automatic was too small

It gets better
Just read a backlog of e-mails.
Got this from Rob @ Ultimatepedals:
We have new pedal finishes available. We literally just finished this....
Dome and Flat top rubber inserts are now available.
These are available with any of our existing pedal finishes and can be retro-fitted into existing pedals.
Website will be updated with the new finishes with pricing by Monday.

Dumb question... What is a dead pedal? Is that the carpeted left foot rest in the auto? Also, is that the same thing as what the ultimate pedal site is calling Driver Footrest Flange?

How is the dead pedal fixed to the car ? Is it directly bolted to the floor ?
