could anybody tell me what thread is in the stock-gearshift and how deep it is?

Are you asking what threading the new stangs have for the shift *****?

For the 05+ mustangs they decided to change the standard threading to 12mm x 1.25.

No problem glad to help. Just so you know that is a all new threading so old shift ***** from older style shifters wont fit.

Reason is that I will create my only shiftknob made of aluminum. Titan is a little bit expensive

I´ve gotten my selfcreated shift **** yesterday. wen installed I will attache some photos of it.
