2005 Ford Mustang Hood
QuickLIFT
& QuickLIFT ELITE
Replace the stock hood prop rod today with the hood QuickLIFT from Redline Tuning. The new Mustang is finally here and it is incredible, however, there are always areas that Ford doesn't address due to cost - our inexpensive hood QuickLIFT kit is one of them... Whether you have the V6 or V8, you'll love the additional engine bay access you will gain with our QuickLIFT installed. Made from the highest quality components, including: black e-coated gas springs (or ELITE series 316L stainless steel gas springs) high strength multi-grip high adhesion rivets to attach all the brackets, and a full color installation manual.
Our QuickLIFT moves the hood lift pivots close to the hinge, freeing up valuable access to the engine bay and keeping you from the painful falling hood when you accidentally bump the prop rod from it's mount! Modify your Mustang today and throw away your prop rod for good.

I'll say it,
"this has been covered, do a search"

It is a great product though, really like mine.

You can also find them occasionally selling on eBay. They have two variations. I purchased and installed their lower end solution on my 'stang several months ago. The struts cost me $59 plus shipping and the cost of a rivet gun.
Installation took about 60 to 90 minutes (give or take a little).
