I installed a GT front bumper on my 05 V6 almost a year ago, I never got around to wiring the foglights until today.

I looked over all the options, rocker switch, GT switch, and remote turn-on.

I decided against the GT and the rocker switch, I didnt feel like messing with running the wiring into the cab.

I ended up buying the $20 APC remote switch and mating it with an unused heavy duty offroad wiring harness I had leftover from a long ago project. The APC kit didnt include a relay, and the old wiring harness was set up with one.

All was installed and works well. I tapped into the parking lights so I can run the fogs with just those lights if I choose to.

Heres the twist: Last year I molded a homelink transmitter into my overhead console. I programed the homelink to operate the fogs. The left button turns the fogs on, the middle button operates the garage door, and the right button turns the fogs off.

One of those mods that no will ever know is on the car, but its pretty cool to me.

I would also like to know more. I had Homelink in my Ram and i sure do miss it. Very cool mod!!
