Floor mats

It's amazing how something as small as getting new floor mats can make such a huge difference on the interior of a car! What do your guys interiors look like? (add a ton of pics)

I beat the boring base blues by adding GT 500 steering wheel, pony mats, sill guards, GT 500 pedals, billet trim accents, leather seat swap,... Padded armrest on its way.

oh ya, i like a nice floor mat and might be a little anl about them. the first ones i got many years ago were pretty cool, loydes with rubber nubbys, they stayed in place nice and looked good for a couple years or so. actually, just the drivers mat took a beating.

the next generation they came out with the dead pedal flap and i didnt think they would last and look good so i passed on those. (big mistake on my part)

i tried the ford racing mats, liked the logo, but they were so small they didnt even cover where your heel sits below the gas pedal.

then a few years later when i tried to replace them, loydes really screwed up and changed them. the good part was a bigger ti bar, the lighter gray charcoal was border line with me but i could live with that, but the no more rubber nubbys and the fact they changed the shape so they didnt fit the 05 floor pan made them a huge no go for me. not sure what they were thinking, but they just didnt fit so they went back. i think they changed them to fit the 2010 but advertise them for the 05-2010. also the rear mats didnt have the big T shape anymore, also not a big deal.

i looked everywhere and all i could find was the new style that didnt fit good

i then got lucky and found 1 set of the dead pedal mats at moss muscle. not only do they fit, they are much heavier, have the rubber nubbys and stay put nice, and the driver and pass mat is taller and goes up into the footwell more than the old ones. i`m real happy i got lucky but a little worried about the next time in a few years.

here s few pics to show the changes. the 1st pic is from years ago, the bottom pic is the only mats (shape) that i could find to fit the 05 perfect.

For mine I was going to paint a few parts on the interior black to kind of tie it all together a little more than the factory does and some new pedals is a must
