Ways to make interior look less cheap?
Ways to make interior look less cheap?
So I love the '05-09 exterior styling, but I hate the sea of cheap plastic everywhere inside. What are some things you guys have done to make the interior a nicer place to be?
You could start with some of Amustangrocks leather products including console lid, e-brake boot and shifter boot. I have all 3 in my car and the quality/price is great.
Lots of options for your dash including custom paint/carbon fiber overlay or an OEM change to something like the Bullitt dash. Other items include billet switch plates, *****, buttons, etc from SHR and hydrocoating on the console and radio trim.

Hi Mark, dont know if this fits your taste but i will use this as inspiration to go with mine.
Leatherwork, boss steering wheel and some boss seats and should be fine!

try some welting on the door panels, got mine from Mr Mikes, inexpensive little detail but really stands out on my black interior. i used a light gray to accent the door panels. there are how to do installations on mustang forums, don't remember where i saw and got info

km / h speedometer

maybe Alcantara Headliner / sun visors, GT logo on the headrests
Wow that headliner is sweet!
However, I think probably the best way to make the interior look "less cheap" would be to have parts of the dash/center console/door panels wrapped in a soft touch leather or vinyl with a little padding underneath by an upholstery shop.
But that's probably not cheap. haha
