Lightbulb Dual XHD6425 ($50) to replace Shaker 500?

Hi - I don't know anything about upgrading car stereos, so I could use some advice. I'm thinking of buying a Dual XHD6425 from Crutchfield as a way to add AUX-in, USB, and HD capability. After rebate and coupon code it comes out to around $50.

The part I'm mainly worried about is "17 watts RMS CEA-2006/50 peak x 4 channels". How does this compare with the Shaker 500 stereo I have installed now? Am I going to be under powering my speakers? I'm not interested in a high-end system; I just want to add the AUX-in, USB, and HD features without any downgrade on sound quality. Is the Dual a good way to go?

By the way, if anyone else is interested in this deal, here's the thread at FatWallet. Seems like the unit has great reviews over at Amazon.
