I've heard that the 05 GT does not have a dead pedal. Is this true? Even my old 94 GT has one.

It does...sorta. It's just shaped sheet metal in the floor pan. It's at an odd angle too, doesn't match your regular pedals. I'm certain the after market will address this. But instead of just a cover they should make an actual wedge to bolt on to the floor pan to correct the angle.

Are you saying you think 2" x 5" is too small?

The factory dead pedal on my 95 GT is 2" x 4" ... that's plenty.

Yep, I found it too small. All of my other cars have dead pedals roughly equal to my shoe size. I'm wearing 11's

It it also fixed to the side of the car by a bracket, which I'm sure I would have bent pretty easily
