oh come! on are we seriusly concerned about wether the **** will be to hot or cold??? maybe you should have muffy heat up some hot coco for ya to keep your hands warm.
I would be willing to design and sell (with great success) a **** warmer for ya. and for those unable to drive in the heat of the sunshine states I will have a cooler pack for ya.

I never imagined mustng drivers would be such sissies!

My '01 Bullitt had the factory aluminum round shifter **** and I loved it. No problem here in HOT Florida. This is a must mod for me....

Hey guys sorry about the long layoff there I was getting ready for Dayton Bike Week. I'm down here in sunny florida just checking in. I have told the guy to make a couple to take pics with different designs like my GT, the Shift pattern, and the mustang on the top. When I get back next week i'll post the pics. He hasn't gotten back to me on the annodizing yet. He told me that he will have all the info when I get back.

Bike Week is awesome if anyone has ever thought about going. Unfortunately I miss my mustang. A whole week without hearing her low rumble.... . Ohh well I guess i'll have to live with awesome bikes and girls with almost no clothing.

Thanks for the updated pics! VERY nice, especially that shift boot collar. Too many after market ***** don't have one, so you have to rig something to keep the shift boot up (and it always droops). I think I'm coming back around to the higher price. B)

 

That's pretty cool. I want one with the concept pony to go with the one I put on the headrests.

 

Instead of red, is there a way he could make the GT part of the **** in black. That would be amazing. Of course, if he can't do red he can't do black I would guess.

I'd be interested in one with the shift pattern or GT on top depending on what the final price turns out to be. Either way it looks beautiful.

 

I also would be interested in the GT version of the ****, especially if the GT lettering could be made black. Depending on the price i'd probably get one either way.

 

You want colored lettering, just use some model paint - paint on - wipe off ... the color should stay in the crevices. Simple.

ok guy i'm back from Daytona. I almost have everything finalized I definatley will have all the info including price, how to pay, etc tomorrow morning so check back for more details. I talk to the guy and he said he could annondize the **** but you really wouldn't want too due to the fact that you are always touching the **** and shifting and that will quickly wear away the annondized part. As for colors on the **** you will have to get it powder coated after you get the **** he currently doesn't have access to powder coating. I'm going to tell him tomorrow to start making them and it usually takes roughly a week to make them due to the other things he has to fabricate for work. I'm going to have him make a "GT" **** like mine, one with the shift pattern on top, and one with the "running mustang" on top. After they are done I will take pictures of them and you guys can choose which ones you want and order them after you see them. Again if you have any other ideas on what you want on top of the **** let me know.

 

I have the aluminum Mach 1 round **** in my 95 GT. I love that **** to death, and will try to tap it with the proper thread so I can transfer it to my '05.

However, the **** DOES go through extremes in temperature. I guarantee that you cannot touch it with your bare hand for longer than a second or so on a hot summer day when the car has been sitting in the sun with the windows closed. I carry a cloth to drape over it when it gets hot. It usually cools down enough to touch it within 5 minutes or so after the air conditioning cools the car.

Conversely, in the winter, it'll pretty much freeze your hand if you try to hold it when it's cold. I wear gloves, and then it's no problem once the car is warm.

Hope that's not being a sissy. B) I put up with it because the **** is awesome, but the extreme temperature changes are something to consider.

 

Nick - Appreciate you doing all of this!!!!!! If the choices are limited to the 3 mentioned - will go with the GT. If one was avaiable with just a plain ball on top and still having the boot offset - might go in that direction.

 

4.6 might be nice, how about HI-PO or FORD

 

ok guys I finally have the information for you. The **** will cost $95 dollars which includes shipping. You can either pay through paypal, money order or personal check. Obviously I will wait to ship the **** untill after the check has cleared. I'm not taking orders untill the three that he is making in the next week or so are done so you guys can get a good view of the *****. Again this guy can make anything so if you have another idea besides the three that I mentioned when you PM me to order state what you want and i'll let you know if it can be done. I'm going to let you know now that almost anything can be engraved on the top of the **** or if you want just a ball that can be done as well. When I start taking orders i'll give you all the info on how to pay like address or paypal account info. I'll check back with you guys when the ***** are done with pictures.
