Overall the color is a pretty close match. The 2nd pic down is kinda dark as the sun was going down and the car was in the shade so it didn't come out as good.I am pretty happy with the look of it..I will say though that you need to love RED , which I do =)

Man, that red looks good, Maciek. And I sent you an e-mail with the rest of the dimensions for the auto boot. Are you still planning on starting that today?

I have all the measurements in place, I have made the diagrams for my team and I'll give them all of that tomorrow. Hopefully (we are swarmed with orders but we'll try to do squeeze this one in since I'm curious myself how it will came out) I'll be able to show some pics tomorrow night!

Maciek,

Got my arm rest cover and E brake cover and installed them last night. Looks great and really dresses up the car. The only down side I ran into was that the slits in the leather of the E brake cover were not all cut in mine. The one side only had 3, I had to cut about 4 more to put the mounting rail back in. Not a big deal but it did make me nervous cutting into that nice leather!

Oh and I think I created a rattle from removing the console top. Anyone else run into this? Were you able to find it and eliminate it?

Hi guys,

some new pictures (thank you Brian!) of our charcoal boots. I was promised better ones as these don't do the boots justice. Brian said he really likes the match between our leather and the charcoal but admits that the difference between the two (black and charcoal) is very slim (it is indeed).

The AT shift boot was shipped to acadian a while ago now, so hopefully we'll all see some pictures soon!

Thank you!

I've got my e-brake boot and shift boot installed in my 2004 as well as the Leather-Wrapped E-Brake Handle I got from 05stangkc.

What is amazing is the boots shipped on Thursday and I recieved on Monday ... less transit time than the e-brake lever did UPS Ground from CA to WI !!

The Redline Charcoal color is a very close match to the O.E. Leather on the shift **** and e-brake ... looks very nice ... much better than the cheezy o.e. vinyl !!

I'll post picks when I get a chance.

Doug

I was planning on taking pics tomorrow, but I had some extra time tonight so I installed my shift boots (e-brake boot and AUTO shift boot) and took some pics tonight. This is not quite the finished product. I had to rig this one to get it to work right, but here are some teaser pics just to let you auto guys see what it will look like when it's all finalized. One is with the shifter in drive and the other is in park.

Maciek, I'll e-mail with you tomorrow and make sure we have everything straight and hopefully you can get me out a final boot soon. But I hope this gives you an idea of what it will look like.

Bryan, I know I told you I'd have pics tomorrow morning, but I hope you are on tonight to take a look a bit earlier. I think it looks pretty good on the auto.

Oh, I'm here! I just got the shifer handle in the mail (THANK YOU KEVIN!) to make the cover for it (for those not in the know, somebody suggested to make a leather cover for the T-bar part of the handle - it should be ready in a few days).

And I'm anxious to hear from you on what needs to be perfected in the auto shift boot. I think now that I have a stock handle I should be all good, but if you can send the pics and info you promised that would be great.

Sweat ! Sorry about that, yesterday was busy. I saw them when you posted them Wed night, but forgot to respond on Thursday. As for the leather shift handle, good concepts. I look forward to seeing that too

No problem, Bryan. I thought maybe with the new format it was hard to find the thread.

And Maciek, I like the idea of the leather handle too. Maybe even make it part of the boot itself so there aren't two pieces. As far as the pics, I posted them up above, but in case you can't see them I'll send them to you too... along with some info on the boot.
