I just couldn't help but post this picture:

It's AWESOME. Notice how the silver thread matches perfectly both the aluminum shift **** and the bezel. To top it off, the red gives it a very custom look!

No code this time, there's one that's still valid (until Midnight today!) in my previous post!

Hi all,

finally a good picture of a black carbon-fiber boot INSTALLED! Thank you Rafal!

Please notice how nice the structure of the carbon fiber is, I daresay it will match very well against other carbon fiber pieces (like the shift **** in the picture, dash kits, etc.) Can't wait for more pics of the carbon pieces in various colors!

Hi all,

I'm beginning to think black leather and light gray stripes with contrasting thread will be my very favorite color combination. It's simply fabulous!

Here's the code for late May: 4P948WEZX03 - Valid until Friday, June 1st (7 days this time)!

Take care,
Maciek

Anyone know how much shorter I need the shift boot to be with an 05 V6 if I'm going to be putting a Hurst short shifter in? Thanks in advance.

I ordered a black leather shift boot and armrest cover with blue stitching. Wahoo. Hope it gets here before Stang Fest next week.

Can't wait to order all 3 pieces. I need to replace my torn boot, and might as well get a whole matching kit.
I was thinking about 2.2" shorter for my Hurst, is this about right for those who have purchased.
I'll order as soon as a new code arrives

Mine is 2" shorter and still has plenty to spare. You can see from the pics that there's still plenty of room left to chop off. My buddy got his 2.2" and there was still plenty of slack. If you feel comfortable with 2.2" though, then go for it. I would recommend that at the very least.

At least these shift boots don't bunch up like the paper-thin stock boot does. You'll realize just how poor quality the stock boot is once you get a real leather one. Good luck!

Thanks. I'm going to go for -3" on the boot, and see how that goes.

Personally I wouldn't go for the E-Brake boot unless he changed the design, the e-brake would not pull up all the way.. And when I visit the dealership they pull the thing up like crazy. I ended up removing mine, but both the shift boot and the arm rest are very nice pieces!

I found the MGW handle cover enough to dress up the e-brake.

I didn't like the way the E-brake cover looked at all on his page. However, when I saw it on PSH, I thought it looked pretty good. Nonetheless, I still just purchased the armrest cover and shift boot cover. I think both pieces are really nice. I think the best E-brake option is the GT500 E-brake.
