I am having trouble figuring out which package to buy. I want both boots (Manual) and the armrest cover. I think it is the top one. But need to know before ordering. And the description says nothing about the e-brake cover. Will be ordering before Nov1. if I find out.

Indeed. Both boots means shift boot and brake boot. I'm not sure what you mean about the description not mentioning the e-brake boot?

Hey Maciek,

I received your shift boot, e-brake cover, and armrest cover the other day. I just went to install and I'm pretty happy with the shifter boot and armrest cover. The e-brake cover I'm not too sure about yet. I was a little surprised to see that there were no slits cut into the cover to accomodate all of the little tabs that hold the metal runner in place. There were three large slits cut into one side (the side with the three round plastic ***** that hold the runner in place. It seemed to make sense to have these slits but these slits did not fit all of the tabs. Are there supposed to be more slits cut out? I get this weird feeling that I got one that was cut with a different pattern. Please get back to me here with any info on this.

Again, I'm pretty happy with the other two pieces but I'm just not feeling the e-brake cover. I really don't want to return it but I don't feel like going and cutting out all the places for the tabs. I hope this can be worked out.

UPDATE:

I spoke with Maciek via email and he told me not to be afraid and just make some cuts in the boot. Yesterday I finally tackled this and I am VERY pleased with the result. Now I've got all three matching pieces and I love them. Very high quality pieces. I would highly recommend it, but expect a little bit more work if you have a newer model stang, because apparently his cut pattern is different. Still worth it.

Man, it's been a while without the new code. But we got lots of stuff today.

First, a great combination of perforated leather and piping in a C5 Vette:



Then, more carbon-fiber (before install, hopefully we'll be able to show them installed soon):



Last but not least, this pic. May appear simple. But those of you who know cars can tell that the no automatic Camaros had a shift boot from the factory, you could see those moving plastic shards around the shift lever. So our shift boot is a completely unique product. Note that those cars had no ebrake boot either - just an ugly metal lever visible under that ebrake handle!


Bottomline - Redline can make anything as long as shift boots are concerned. Just shoot us an email.
