Well, parts were in the mailbox when I got home. Easy enough to install I guess. Not just overly excited about the way the cover for the console lid fits. The shifter boot is "OK". The color...well it is hard to run out to your car while on line and compare and hope the pictures are life like. But I took the chance. I guess I will live with it. But just for the record. The red is MUCH BRIGHTER than the red leather that Ford uses.

My Armrest cover fits good. I had to stretch and work with it to get the edges smooth, but it looks great.

The E Brake Boot was a pain in the #%$ to install. I found some screws to use, but one corner of the boot is a little short, and even with Gorilla glue, I dont think it will hold in the long run.

The black leather matches the leather door inserts great, and the yellow stiching looks awesome.
Overall, I am VERY happy with this mod, and in the future would consider the auto shift boot ( if I could only see the gear letters)....

I will post pics tonight.

Hello,

We'd like to present another new two-tone color combination. This one is particularly dear to our hearts, seeing as red and white are the colors of the flag of Poland, where we spend a LOT of our time on RedlineGoods' production and shipping.

Which gives us an idea we'd like to follow to make a shift boot in the color of the US flag... Maybe red/white two-tone with a LOT of blue stitching... ?

Here's another 10% discount code: 3JA5489HIN0. This code is VALID UNTIL JUNE 30TH!

Thank you and drive safely!

No offense to the people of Poland, your country, or your flag. This is STRICTLY A COMMENT ABOUT THE SHIFT BOOT ITSELF. When I see those two colors together in that shape configuration, THIS is the first thing that comes to my mind.

Hello,

To show off how up to the times we are here is a picture of our VERY custom work done for a 05GT: a custom made ebrake boot and an automatic transmission shift boot. None of these were available before we designed them!

The colors are charcoal and black leathers with red stitching. The picture kind of shows the difference between

Maciek , I cannot seem to get the shifter boot installed. The instruictions you have on your site seem designed for the manual boot. If I am wrong, please let me know ...

However, there are no cuts in the leather or tabs on the leather to pass the boot frame ring tabs thru. In addition, I did manage to do a test fit and found the boot to be too small. Let me explain. I slipped it over the boot frame ring, then placed it on the shifter. When I try to shift into 1st, the leaterh binds and it moves between 1st and 2nd and then the leather slips off.

(manual boot w/tabs - auto boot has no tabs or cuts)

Can you provide a install sheet for the auto shifter boot ?

I wish. Acadian promised me one time and again and I never got it. But it's been explained before in this post... Basically you need to remove that frame gently, put the boot on it and push it back down, simple as that. Please read through acadian's posts I believe he wrote the steps down.

Hello,

we have a new offer for everyone! This time, no discount code BUT we hope that what we're going to offer here is EVEN BETTER!

We have launched a summer promotion of our website and WE COVER SHIPPING on all orders above $50. So, if you're still deciding if you'd like just a shift boot (or just an ebrake boot) or both - do get both. It's much more economical now!

Another inspirational picture of our customer's setup. It's a Mustang 05GT shift boot in two version of RED and BLACK two-tone with QUADRUPLE thread: CONTRASTING (red stitch on black panels and black stitch on red ones) and an additional row of outside SILVER thread. It's a great combo for that car, which is a red 05GT with aluminum accents in it's normally black interior. The leather ties the dominant interior color together with the exterior, and the thread matches the aluminum accents.

The first version is left side black, right side red, the second one is alternating.

I would be interested in an automatic shift boot, if only it didnt cover the letters to tell you what gear you are in. I really use those a lot.......

Honestly, we tried that tack but it's not possible, the fitment between the sides of the gear indicator and the plastic frame that would have to hold the boot to the center console is just too tight.

We CAN try cutting out a "window" to show you the gear indicator... I'm not sure what it would come out like, but I'm sure you could use the indicator if you needed to.

I used GOOP, it dries rubbery (sp?) Which makes it perfect for the shift boot. Costs about $7 CDN here. You can use it for tons of other stuff too! Great "glue"

It actually looks like silicone

Hi everyone!

THIS JUST IN! We not have a 4-panel shift boot available for the 05 Mustangs in addition to our regular, 2-panel one.

Some pictures:

It costs $10 extra on top of the price of the regular one (click here to see our product page where you can find the price table). It can be combined with our other products, the ebrake boot and the armrest cover, to save money.

WE ARE CURRENTLY OFFERING FREE SHIPPING if you purchase for $50 or more!

I've created a new thread on this forum to discuss our products further, this one, with 14 pages of input, is probably too difficult to get through anymore, so please use the new one to ask questions or post comments: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=30687

Thank you!

You may remember the black/red two-tone with quadruple contrasting and silver threads we have posted pictures of previously. We've added a matching ebrake boot to it and both those boots together look AWESOME! Just look:
