Did you end up going with Black / Yellow Thread ?
Did you order all 3 covers/boots ?
I ordered the E BRake boot and the Armrest cover. I did not order the auto shifter boot at this time. Not a fan of the "flap", plus I cant see the gear it is in, as it hides that part.......
Yes, I got the black leather to match the door inserts, with the yellow thread. Should look great. Hope to get them in before I go out of town for the show on June 24th.
If I get them, I will post pics.
Thanks everyone for the info.

Rene', the auto boot isn't being made with the flap anymore. So no worries there. And as far as seeing what gear it's in, you really don't need to see. You can "feel" were you are at any time. Test it out at least next time you are in the car and see how easy it is to know what gear you are in. The shifter arm actaully locks in all the major gears... P,R and D. The only reason you might need to see it is if you are manually shifting with the 1-2-3. But as I've found out on this site and through my own testing, manually shifting does not make you go any faster. If for any reason you'd need the lower gears though, you can feel those as well... or you can easily lift off the shift boot and put it to the side. It literally comes off in 3 seconds and with no tools other than your fingers.
If you are looking for a unique interior mod that will get you points with the judges, the auto shift boot is a great idea. I mean, who else with an '05 auto is going to have a leather shift boot? One of the ugliest things in the interior IMO is the plastic P-1 shift bezel. If you want to really dress the interior up, why not hide it?
Edit: In case you didn't see my post on the last page, here is a pic of my shifter bezel... the one without the flap.

Thanks Ian for the info. For some reason though, I am just not feeling it. I am sure it looks good in person, but something about it I do not care for.
I got my other pieces in the mail today, I cant wait to get home and put them on..........I will post pics tonight.

OH...........I see now.................Very cool!!!!
HELP ME!!
I have the center console out of the car, and now I am confused on the "HOW TO" for the e - brake cover. Does the rubber runner come off for good? I read the directions amillion times, and I cant figure out what to do next?
Any one with a detailed how to..........

With the console upside down on a towel, fit the boot over the nibs. I cut extra slits in one side for a more secure fit. After you've done that place the rubber/metal bracket over the boot, and secure it with 3/8" screws and washers in the 7 spots he showed in the pics. You don't have to crank them down, just firm them up.
That's pretty much it. Enjoy.

The screws part is what confused me. Shouldnt the screws be included?
I will work on it again tonight.

Just make sure you hold the screw up to the plastic nib, making sure it won't go through the top side of the console. Since each plastic nib length could be different, amount it was melted during assembly etc (which is why I used 3/8” instead of the suggested ½”). I ended up using pop-rivet washers (which are about twice as thick as normal ones). And of course use flat headed screws, not tapered.
