I bought new satin door lock pins for my mustang, my question is do you just twist the old ones off or do you have to take off that little panel thats around it off in able to get it off? THANKS alot Kevin

you only have to take off the little piece around the lock, then you can unsrew the old pin and install the new pin and place the piece back on. you do not have to remove the whole door panel

Just unscew it - there is nothing to remove around the pin. Then screw the new one in.

I made aluminum ones at work to replace the plastic ones. It looks way better if you have the IUP.
