Can you use a Sirius with the aux button?
I have the PIE AUX adapter and was wondering if it's possible to hook up a sirius reciever the same way you connect the I-Pod. If so how is it done.

all you have to do is get a Y adaport that goes from the standard 1/8" head phone jack to 2 rca adaptors... plug the 1/8" into sirius in its output hole and plug th RCA into the imput on the PIE AUX you will be able to hear the sirius clearly through the speakers but not be able to control it throuh the ford head unit.
by the way this works for any audio device with an audio out raning form satilite radio to ipods to laptops portible cd playes in car dvd players ect.

I happen to be in the same situation as you. This is what i'm planning to do. I've already bought the frd-04 aux from precision electronics for $90 , a rca to 3.5mm cable $10 the starmate $70. By using the frd-04 you will be able to use the aux button on the factory stereo. You can also use the same rca to 3.5mm cable and switch between your starmate and ipod/mp3 player. Additionally I've found Soundgate.com sells Part # AUX3 $61.95 which acts as an a/b switch allowing you to have your starmate and mp3 hooked up together.
