Call me crazy but I like the way my windows are now, and don't necessarily want them any darker or harder to see through. I would like to protect the interior, however. I know window tint can help keep the heat down in the car and also reflect UV rays. My question is- Is there a legit tint/product/etc that keeps the heat and UV rays out but does only that and does not actually tint the windows, leaving it to look just like it does off the dealer's lot?

Check into the ceramics, V-Kool and Huper Optick. There are links on this forum regarding those products, do a search. I've heard they are TONS better at protecting from heat/UV than dark tint. Dark tint is just that, dark. I'm probably going with V-Kool. But it is alot more $$$$

I just got the Huper Stark installed on mine, definately a little darker then stock but nowhere near as dark as some of the cars at work. Would have gone with something like V-Kool 40 but the only install shop here in town for it was a bit more spendy then I was ready to shell out. As it was, the Huper ended up costing $350.

I put the V-Kool on the side windows of my Mark VIII. It is more costly, but
it cuts down the suns heat by about 80-90%. It has some tint to it, but very
minimal.
