Like the title says, i have blown the 8 inch driver door speaker in my shaker 500 system. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should i just replace it with stock? I would love to use this as an excuse to upgrade, but would it be pretty expensive?

 

Shelby makes a direct replacement that is made by Kicker and not a bad price at $149 for the pair.

Yep... these are 100% plug and play. I have multiple reviews from those who have used these components and seen nothing but good feedback.

 

hmm i am wondering if i should go this route or go with the Focal Utopia B 5" subs i was planning.

 

What's the power ratings on these? How many ohms are they? are the dvc? What model speaker is it? Do you have a manufacture link?

I may have answered my questions. They look like Kicker CompVR from the picture wit a special mounting from shelby? If that is true, then this may be another "upgrade"

 

Do you think there are other grilles that would fit these speakers? If possible i would like a less-stock looking one to let the upgrade be more noticeable
