I'm ordering a '08 Vert and I want this interior (from the brochure). I really want the inserts.

The sales guy says that I can get it with a Preimum Trim package and ordering the "dark charcoal seats with parchment interior". This would be order code KC. But I'm not sure he is correct. I think I can only get this interior (with the inserts) if I order the CS package. Which I don't want as I don't particularly like scoops or spoilers.

Can any confirm this one way or the other?

Yep, you can. I got an 07 with that interior. Check it out:

 

The order code for this interior with the Premier Trim both years is KC. For the GT/SC, the order code in '07 was KC also, but this year its MC. So I wonder why they changed the order code for this year?

 

But isn't that the GT/CS package? I don't see the leather brow & center console lid that comes as part of the Premier Trim package.

 

The picture of your new ride posted back in February shows that you do indeed have a GT/CS vert. I'm thinking this fellow is asking if he can get the GT/CS interior in a vert, without getting the GT/CS package. The answer is no.
For 2007, codes KC and KD showed up for both Premier Trim package and for GT/CS interior. The codes were changed for 2008 GT/CS to MC and MD (two-tone seats)to reduce the confusion some folks were having when ordering. The Premier package remains KC and KD (solid-color seat), and is not available on a GT/CS.

Roy--that is exactly the question I have spent the last few days trying to answer. Unfortunately, I think Joe is right--it seems the only way to get the two toned seats is the CS. I wanted the same interior you did, and my salesman told me what yours did. This site has been very helpful, and both our salesmen are wrong.

I have always had solid, dark-colored seats and want something different. Now I am thinking of Chamois...

 

Well, I guess I will find out for sure when my Stang comes in.

 

If all else fails, you can have it done yourself.. I had black inserts sewn into my red seats.

 

I did the Katzkin thing on my 06'GT,only reversed.(yeah yeah weird lighting)
