Best touch screen radio?

What do you guys have/recommend? What are good prices? What is the most simple to use? What kind of frame/adapter (I'm not sure what to call it) would I have to buy/make (?) to have an aftermarket head unit fit?

I have an 06 and I'm tired of no auxiliary chord. I've found a pioneer head unit that's touch screen with the USB, sd card, and aux port are on the front. It's clean looking and around $300.

Do your research at Crutchfield.com and decide what you want and then see if you can find it cheaper somewhere else. If you buy it from Crutchfield it will come with an installation kit and if you don't you can still buy an installation kit there ...

Back in 2007 I installed the Pioneer AVIC-D3 with GPS and XM. I did all the research on Crutchfield and shopped around online for components. Still have the system in the car and have had zero issues. It's a very easy DIY

What do you guys think about the pie unit that you just screw in on the back and attach the auxiliary cord to? (and if you get really fancy run it to your center console haha)

Waiting on a Pioneer AVH-P4400BH to hit my doorstep today. have been running with an older Kenwood DDX7017 but the screen broke so it was time to upgrade.

Do your research at places like Crutchfield. They are very helpful and their site is jam packed with info about the radios on there. Pick your price range and go from there. between Kenwood and Pioneer for example, unless you are an audio nut and are looking for every little difference, there is not much difference between them with quality as both are good. I narrowed my search down to those two then found dealers in my area they sell them just so I can go get my hands on them. between the two I went with Pioneer this time because I like the user interface layout vs. the Kenwood but I also enjoyed the Kenwood I have until it broke.

LOL!! Well, it's video but you can here the difference from the stock H

And a drive by video.

It's a nice sound on the outside and you do here a bit more inside the car, especially the air flowing through the cats. It annoyed me at times and the extra airflow through the cats almost sounds like an exhaust leak. It's also a pricey piece brand new but you could probably pick up a used one for s decent price. I need to update my list, I am running JBA Long tubes with their catted H now.
