I was un sure of what pedals to use, I am looking at the steeda ones?

Can any one suggest what they bought and why? And where did you get them?

I got the UPR pedal covers. I like mine they aren't on there great(as in perect strait) but thats my fault for not realizing the drill wasn't turn up any. othe than that i think they look and feel great. check them out at www.uprproducts.com I'm cleaning up my car today and getting some nice pics of the Mods I've added so I'll post pics of them later.

I did the UPR ones. I liked the fact that they went over the factory pedals. This allows the factory rubber on the pedal through and gives it a better feel and look, in my opinion,

I saw that cdc is doing the GT 500 pedals, Is anyone else carrying them? CDC wants 99 for a set. Parts shopper and Mustang Tuning do not have them?

CDC website says "The accelerator pedal is adhered with two way automotive bonding tape and the brake and clutch are simply slip on in place of the factory pedals." Unless I'm missing something, I'm not a big fan of slip-on or tape-on pedals. All the UPR pedals screw on.. no chance in the world of one coming loose.

Also like the fact that the UPR gas pedal is wider making it a little easier to heel-toe.

I got me self the UPR pedals. They installed well. But, I think I screwed up one of the screws on the brake pedal. Still solid though. I didn't have much room putting in the screw with my electric drill. Those with UPR pedals, any advice for new installers? (I had to push in the brake as far as possible to at least get a good angle to drive the screws).

Yep, I like them because they are solid, no chance of them coming off.

As for advice on installing them.. drill a small pilot hole, then start each screw by hand for a couple of turns before switching to the drill. And as Spirit said, push the brake and clutch pedals all the way down for more room when you use the drill. For the brake it may be helpful to leave the car running so that the pressure doesn't build up in the brake lines making it harder to push down.

I'm with Donna on this one. I also got a set of the Ultimatepedals.com set. Even have the flanged deadpedal. So much better than rubber covers, and the quality is amazing. Rob from Ultimate is fantastic. I got in on the original group buy, and he was so helpful and gave such a fantastic discount I ordered them 5 months before my car even arrived. I highly recommend them.

Hey Edson,
To answer your billet question.. instead of casting aluminum, billet is carved out of a solid block. Most of the time using a CNC machine. Cast... as I'm sure you know, is molten metal poured into a mold....usually styro foam in sand.. when the molten metal hits the foam, it melts it, but the sand stays put.. allowing the metal to take the shape of the foam.
