Just ordered mine too. Thank god..I'm so sick of my FM modulated Sirius. Now I just need to figure out where I'm gonna keep my Sirius Sportster. I think you guys will like what I have in store. It should definitly be in place before I get my Aux Adapter.

Ok, they picture the Shaker on their site, but make no mention of the single-disc cd player. I'm guessing it would work because it has the same face and same "reaction" when you push the AUX button. Does anyone know for sure?
Anyone have any idea?

I would assume it would still work, but I don't know for sure. Have you emailed them?

Wow..I think I lucked out as a newbie
This morning I placed my order, and the count was at 191. I wasnt sure if that was updated due to them being closed on 8-10. But now that I checked, the count is at 201 w/ a date of 8-10-05.

Great find

Just got my confirmation Email and I'm order 199. I'm glad I didn't wait another 10 minutes, I may have had to wait another month or two to get mine.

TECH ME at the P.I.E. forums said the AUX will work on the single-disc units as well as the Shaker 500 & 1000.

Mine was order #147 and has been shipped already. It's supposed to arrive by UPS this friday.

BTW, Their site now shows availability (ships within 24 hours). However, the price is no longer $69.95. It's now $85.98.

Both of mine arrived today!

One for the Stang, one for the '04 F-150.

I may just put them both in tomorrow. This has been a long time coming. :worship:

Woohoo!

I got mine today and just tried it.. Bad news!! The PIE unit DID NOT work on my SINGLE in dash radio.

I'm not a newbie to car stereos and I tripled checked all my connections. I did NOT get the little headphone icon after everything was connected and powered up. Everytime I pushed the AUX button I would get the same message as before "NO AUX AUDIO".

So, does this ONLY work with Shaker 500/1000 units? This sux!! :bang:

Apparently, this seems to be a common problem with the '05 Stangs already.. This isn't good news.. Read it here

I received mine Wednesday and tried to install it that night. I followed all the directions and could never get it to work (I have the Shaker 500). Last night I tried again and still could not get anything to recongize it. I then called PIE tech support and he had me to ground it better. The power wire is spliced into the cig lighter power wire and the ground wire is spliced into the cig lighter ground wire. He then had me unplug the factory 16-pin harness from the PIE harness, turn the key off, open the door, turn the key back on and it finally worked.

Then I couldn't get the stereo back in because the harness was in the way, so I unplugged it to move the harness around the brace in the back and I can't get this thing to work again. I tried everything he said and no luck. I had it working for all of 15 minutes and now it's just driving me crazy. This thing should not be this sensative. There has to be an easy fix to this.

BTW, that was me that posted on the PIE forum. Apparently, TechMe hasn't responded to either of my questions.

I have two adapters and just finished installing the first one in my 2004 F-150.

It works!

I pulled constant 12V and ground from the same points as my XM Commander since it has worked fine. When I first fired it up after reconnecting the battery, I hit the AUX button and got XM! Whoa, major distortion! The adapter has a gain control that was set at max and after I dialed it back to min, it sounds good. I'll reserve ultimate judgement until it's been running for a while, but my initial impression is positive. No more of the FM modulator hiss and it sounds much sharper and cleaner than FM. The XM volume is now on par with FM which is was not before - maybe 75%.

Now, I'm headed out to do the GT. I'll post up after that............

Just finished installing it in the GT and...........NO GO! My Shaker 1000 shows "NO AUX AUDIO". WTF? :bang: It works in my '04 F-150. Checked all connections. That ain't it. I am not a happy puppy right now.

I'm gonna eat some lunch and go out and screw with it some more.

So far............ :notnice:

This is a copy of an email that I've sent Log Jam Electronics:
So,

The word is that every single person that has received this cannot get it to work on the '05 Mustang with either 3 versions of the Stock stereo system. I am going to refuse delivery from UPS and expect a full credit upon arrival at your facility.

Please keep my email in your system and when you come up with a system that works, I'll gladly entertain ordering one after I hear that it actually works.

thank you for your prompt attention in this matter.
