Audio Plan - Would Like Opinions

I want to replace the Shaker 500 in my '06 convertible and I have a tentative plan. I don't want a huge, booming stereo sound - just clear, well-defined audio at 80 mph with the top down.

So far, I'm leaning towards the Pioneer DEH-P5900ib headunit, Polk db5250 component system for the front doors, and Pioneer TS-G6841R 6x8 speakers for the rear. I assume I need an amp, but I need a reco on that. And I'm totally open to suggestion or feedback on any of these other components and your experience with them?

thanks!

Jessica

we sell the heck out of the Pioneer 5900 = nice deck. You may want to add a sub later-I did a single 12" custom box in the pass corner of the trunk compartment - but then again, I ordered mine with the bone stock system so I could easily upgrade it. I don't think you would necesarily need an amp, try it without first and see...
