Airbag Warning Sticker Help
I was messing with my car today and decided that I would try and remove the airbag warning stickers on the sunvisors. I got most of the 1st sticker off and then the cloth started to tear. Any ideas on what to do next? Are there aftermarket sunvisor stickers?

Hairdryer did the trick. The second side came off in no time at all after heating it up.
Hint for those who might want to remove these stickers. Remove the sunvisors and take them in the house. 2 screws and they come right off.

Another easy way is to put a cloth over top of the visors and then a hot iron. Let the iron heat 'em up and they come right off w/out stretching the material. Yes, there's aftermarket stickers, such as the one that says 'Warning, you are riding in a 300hp Ford Mustang GT..."

Those stickers are hidious and obviously installed per Federal regulations...reminds me of the those ugly Dealer stickers on the back of the cars. They should just put them in the glove box and instruct the owner to install those airbag warning stickers if they want to. Just like the dealers who drill the two holes in the front bumper in order to attach the front plate (where required). The customer has lost control of the whole delivery process. I guess I could go on and on...

Be careful when removing those stickers! If you really mess up the sun visors, they cost about $140 each at the Ford dealership.
I learned the hard way when adding red piping to the edges of mine.
Instead of just taking out the screws, I tried to slide one of the visors off of the rod. I forgot they are spring-loaded, and I broke the mechanism! The parts guy felt sorry for me and sold me one for wholesale. It still cost me almost $120 with tax. Oh well, live & learn I guess.
Here's a pic with the red piping. Since then I removed the stickers with a dryer too.
