Its from pulling the seat. I believe that there are sensors in the seat that tell the airbag to deploy. Without the sensors from the seat i dont know how it will work now

How do you like the Corbeau seats , I've been considering a set ? I know you have to get brackets that fit your car and I was wondering if the height is adjustable on them. Also post some pictures if you can ...

The seats have weight sensors in them. Your Airbag may not deploy now in an accident. The Dealer may be unwilling to bypass due to Liability issues. I would hang on to the original seats in case you sell the car.

You can mount them to the bottom of the seat but that wont solve you airbag light. You would need the sensor out of the seat put into your new seats. I dont know if thats really an option but it could be something to consider
