It's all good. 92% is better than what most would get I'm sure. I counted just to make a point and to see for myself what all the hard work equaled to. The car will be in 5.0 Magazine in a couple months and then probably a second time with a full feature after the blower install.

Cooooool! Congrats on the magazine deal.

First off I've got to say I like what you've done with your car and all the time you put into it. But..... As with the other sites I've seen this on, you flame people who don't like your car and your always trying to boost yourself up and seem to give alot of attitude which most of us don't want. It's fine to dispute your point if you have one, but if people don't like what your putting out there that's their problem so just let it ride. Everyones oppion is there own. Just let it ride....... Stop being so defensive.

It seems to me that this guy is a me me me, look at me kind of guy. Why would you go around posting your car on all this sites to get peoples opinions, and then become so defensive when someone dosn't like the car. If you like it, enjoy your car. Don't show it off all over the flippen internet. I give it a :notnice: . Now what's your percentage? Geez, what a dork. Look at my signature. Have you ever seen stripes? You seem to be the guy John Candy is talking about. Sorry, just my honest opinion.
#45
I am no different than other people who post their cars on the internet. People do it all the time and I did it to find out what the overall opinions were. If you dont like it fine, you just dont have to be a xxxx about it. I dont think you hurt my rating at all because another 20 or so have replied who love it This is what I am talking about. You dont know me or what kind of person I am so your opinion of me to be honest is completely wrong.

I guess the truth will be told this year at the car shows. I can tell you that everywhere we drive the car people want to stop and talk about how sweet and well done it is. I am not being cocky, just telling how people respond to it in person so dont start flaming me! It will be in a major indoor car show over the weekend. We will see how it does there when thousands see it in person for the first time.

If so many other people like it - as you assert - why do you care so much what people here think? Message boards are a bad place to look for validation.
Personally...I think it it's a spectacular job; very professional and very unique. Yellow and black are not MY personal choice in colors, however, but that's why we get different color options.
If a magazine is doing a story on it, that should matter to you a lot more than what ANYONE here thinks.
What size wheels and tires are you using, by the way?

Did I miss something here

That's how people are responding to all '05 Mustangs, I get stopped all the time, get asked about it all the time and still have the stock paint job at the moment.

True, true. I get the same thing! I had to spend 20 minutes the other night, in the 30 degree weather, listening to some guy tell me how bad he wants one and how much he loves (mine) & the 05's.
Dave...

I get stopped by everyone, because of the car, not because of the stock paint.
IMO, it's ugly - but if you love it that is all that counts. I think that paint job would work best with one color in two different tones...if at all.

I think it's nice. But definately a little too flashy. Which is probably why some people don't like it. On a new car, fair game. On an old Mustang, I wouldn't get it. JMO. But as I said before, I do like that you've got the white pinstripe between the colors.

Not trying to fan a fire... but.... I asked what the offset is both front and rear...
Here is the responce...
How do you spend more than $1000 dollars on just wheels... tires not included... and NOT know the offset?
I don't care anymore... I already found out.
Thanks anyway?

Like other "REAL" members here have already posted... it happens every day... and my 05 is nearly stock.
Again... not trying to fan a fire, and I personaly like the car... but it seems like someone joined with only one intention in mind... to get a reaction.
I guess it worked.

appears that way, but still gotta give him props, the car looks good for just unknown offset wheels and a blacked out top...LOL
-If it was mine, which it isn't, the only thing that I might possibly change is to go w/ the ROH Drift R's that aren't black, just to give it some contrast.....but still, I like the paint scheme, not too overboard w/ some weak a.s.s. flames or scallops.

I'm guessing he is not going to tell... again...
So I guess I'll answer for him, this is what I found out by making several calls today.
They are ROH Drift R's 19x10 rear, 19x9 front.... Offset is 45mm rear, and 35mm front.
I am guessing he also used 295 35's rear and 275 35's or 40's in the front.

Sorry haven't been on here in a while. Why would I care to tell? I honestly ordered them a while ago and just told them to make them for an 05 GT with a 3" lip and 10" wide rears. I dont know alot about offsets, that's why I told you to call them.

Yes that's it Putaway, I really need attention. Let me ask you something. Does anyone build a car and really not want people to look at it or get peoples opinion from it? I dont think so. It is people like you who dont know xxxx about me and make a stupid xxx comment like that, that **** me off. Not people with CONSTRUCTIVE things to say.
