Hey, don't get all defensive there, if you don't want anything bad said about your car, save yourself the time and don't post pics. If you expect everyone to like it you are a bit naive. I will have to find the previous post on this topic and I would say at least 75% said they didn't like it.

Holder, I dont have time to argue. Take a look on svtperformance at about 4 pages of nothing but positive replies, same with corral, kyhorsepower, ls1.com, camaroz28.com, etc. I guess it looks good enough that it caught the eye of some magazine guys too. So the "bumble bee" will be in a couple of national magazines soon, enough said!

See, you came in asking for opinions and then got upset when you got one that didn't agree with yours. Shame on you. That is the main reason I read this site and not those, because these posters say what they think and pull no punches. When I ask a dumbhiney question, I want someone to tell me to quit being a dumbhiney, and these people will do that. Sometimes that's what I need, that's for sure!

On a side note, I think if you are happy with your car, then that is awesome. The yellow and black look good IMO, but I am not a fan of the wheels. I think it makes a void under the wells. But then again, that's MY opinion.

 

At least it stands out from just stripping the car. Interesting, I'm on the fence because this is the first I've seen on an 05.

Chad, have you considered black on the rockers and lower fascias lines?

 

As long as you like it, that's what matters. You have to understand that not everyone has the same taste. It looks like they did a beautiful work. Personally, I don't like it. Again, different people, different tastes

I know that people are going to have different opinions and the people on stangnet that started that stuff were alot of people who were friends with one of the members on there so they jumped on his bandwagon. I dont care if you dont like it, but to say it looks like hiney or rice is retarded! One guy runs his mouth and says that is why they dont build cars like that, because they wont sell! I guess he has never heard of Boyd Coddington or Chip Foose! I went back to every site that I posted it on just to see what the percentages were, just for fun and here are the results....

Between Stangnet, Svtperformance, Bradbarnett, Camaroz28, Ls1.com, Rangerforums, Corral, and Kyhorsepower there were 247 positive, 6 unsure, and 22 negative. This does not count pm's and emails. So that is around 92% approval. Most said it was the baddest 05 yet, so I feel really good about that.

 

I am not a jerk like some may think. It is impossible to judge someone over the internet. I just dont like putting a ton of hard work into something and someone saying nasty comments about it. If you dont like it, say so, but dont be a jerk about it.

 

Well, I guess your not the original or 1st one! You've just copied someone else idea! If you like it, cool. That's really all that matters

BTW, Which magazine's are going to show your ride? Anything done to the inside to match the paint scheme?

Not my style but I can see that you put a lot of work into it. There is room for all here. Sure, some folks could tone down their rejection of your work, that might make it easier for you to accept. But keep in mind that in this one short thread you have responded to those who did not agree as Jerks, retards and smoking crack. That's 3 comments that we don't see much here so you might want to consider that.

In any case, welcome to TMS. You will find a fan base here for your work. You'll also find some who don't agree. That is true for anyone who asks for an opinion. Don't let it get you down.

But you have time to count 275 posts? Anyway, I never said it was terrible work, just that I don't like it.

 

It's all good. 92% is better than what most would get I'm sure. I counted just to make a point and to see for myself what all the hard work equaled to. The car will be in 5.0 Magazine in a couple months and then probably a second time with a full feature after the blower install.

 

what are the specs on those wheels...on the 05. Didn't see anyone mention them...

 

BTW Dave, we have had many older Mustangs painted with this design and a few fox body cars long before the Coddington/Roush cars came out a few years back so we didn't copy anyone, thanks.

 

So quick to slam people like you did on Stangnet. Why don't you just put a post and ask for good comments if you cannot handle someone saying they don't like it? Everyone has an opinion and mine is :notnice: sorry if you don't like negative feedback......
