2ohm vs. 4ohm door speakers.
There will be no sound quality difference due to ohms. It is simply a resistance, 2 ohm is harder to drive than 4 ohms. Keep in mind a short circuit is zero ohms.
If you are hooking to a RADIO (no amp) or the stock Ford sytem (500 or 1000) go with the 4 ohm speaker. If you trying to get more power out of a 2 ohm stable amp, then the 2 ohm speaker may make sense. However, with that type of amp, you'll likely get more power, but what they don't tell you is that at 2 ohms, distortion and damping factor figures are terrible. But with rap or bass heavy music - that is not an issue.
Basically stick with the 4 ohm speaker and you'll be far ahead in 99% of any situation.
