Let's see now, shifter bezel, door handles, drink holder bezel, and now these A/C *****. I'm going to have to do a whole bunch of Honey-dos in order to get a kitchen pass for all of these.

Yes!!!

They are expected back from anodizing / finishing next week, and the special tools from Bondhus just arrived this morning. I expect by that the end of next week we will have them all wrapped up and just about ready to go out.

The T-9 bit will be included at N/C with every kit (I had to buy a special tool set to get one, so I figured everyone else didn't want to do the same) and we'll have satin anodized, black anodized, and polished / anodized all come in at once. Chrome will be a few weeks longer, we have to make another run of pieces and send them off to the plating shop, and the one we normally use does not want to do these for fear of shadow marks... so we have to send these to TN for plating now.

Any idea on pricing yet? I know I will want them as soon as you show the photos. Have not seen anything you put out that was not truly a top notch product.

Go easy on us :-)

Pricing is 49.00-69.00 depending on finish and model year (07-08 is more difficult to machine than 05-06=longer cycle time..)

No pre-orders, just we'll open it up as soon as we have completed packages in a week or so, and that way we can ship immediately and not keep a spearate folder going on just A/C **** stuff. Plus, look at this thread... it's taken us way longer to bring them to market than we thought, but the end result will be very nice. Had we been taking pre-orders in June, I think we'd have some upset folks now, because I honestly thought we were going to have them done back in August.

Sounds great! I'm glad that (for once) I was patient and waited. Now if I can just decide on the black or satin anodized......

Asssembly is in progress for the fiber optic (not as easy as it sounds) and we're hoping to have the 07+ ***** on the website this weekend for purchase. The 05-06 ***** will be another couple weeks, they are machined, but are "trapped" at anodize.

Chrome plated parts (05-08) will be another 4-5 weeks yet, plating shop is just slower than anodize...

Other than that, looking real good!

Sounds like its coming along! I'm kind of glad they're not ready at the moment. I'm nearly broke... lol & I'll need a mod to install in the upcoming PA winter months!

Awesome! I'll be purchasing some of those 05-06 anodized as soon as they're ready to go!

Cool, I've been working on the directions for the 07+ cars, it's actually not that hard, but explaining it takes some time... hoping to still get these up by the end of the weekend, as most of us are leaving for SEMA next week, and if we don't get it wrapped up this weekend, it will be 2 weeks until we can get it going...

Guys,

Just wanted to let everyone know we did not get the directions done as we had hoped in time, so the A/C *****, while finished, can't go on sale for 2 weeks until I can get the directions properly done and into the packages.

I will say that the instructions will have two options, a "quick and dirty" and a "refined and OEM" type install. Both will get the job done, but one will take about 40 minutes longer than the other to do. All photography is done, so I just need to match up the photos with the text and make sure it all makes sense. I will probably be doing this while on the way out to SEMA, and so when we get back it will be ready to go.

I'm sorry for any delay, but we want this right, not rushed.

Other than that, I'll be checking in on the forums while on the road, so anything posted up will still get replied to.

I will wait on the chrome ones but a pic would be nice of it and the other styles you are making.

I have to finish reading the thread but I did this too. I got some gorilla glue wet the tips of the broken part in my hand took a toothpick and dabbed it into the glue then touched the broken **** where i just got wet. I used the littlest amount of glue then stuck the **** in pressing hard then let it dry. Everything works great now and it isn't loose, I can move it and also give it a tug and it still stays in. I priced getting the whole unit replaced but it was way to much. This worked perfect I used just a tiny bit of glue.

I've got some, but none of the finished ones (metal finishing I mean) installed yet, because we had to leave for SEMA. Hopefully the week after next we'll get them up at the same time we release them. I have word that the 05-06 is already back as well, and that chrome 07+ should be done sooner than expected from the plate shop.

AN image of the design is earlier in this thread - just imagine it finished as usual like all of our interior products
