I ordered the xenon rear tail lamp panel, I think it looks great, a bit glossy, but for 68.00 from cal-mustang a great buy. I am told it goes on with 3m dobled sided tape, but my question to anyone out there who may have bought this or know, what about the rear badge? does it go around the badge, or does the badge need to be removed, and if so, how does it come off??

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Actually, this looks like a better route to go than painting it, not bad of price and if you get tired of it later on, you can always remove it.

How does it fit around the center emblem? Since it doesn't go under it, does the emblem look "sunken" due to the thickness of the piece? (I looked at the link above, but is hard to tell from pic)

Just checking to make sure I read right, it does NOT cover the tail lights. I like the center part colored, but do not want the tail lights coverd.

That's right, the tail light covers are a seperate product.

Appears it would require you to simply remove the GT emblem....IT's just a stick on anyway....no big deal removing it and re-sticking it with some doublesided tape again......same thing we did when mine was painted...

If you are talking about the medallion, faux gas cap, or whatever it is, it just stuck on with double sided tape.

Please post pics when you can! I like the idea of blacking out the panel but don't want to do the lights. Wonder how this will look without their light covers? It does look like the emblem is kind of sunk in from the picture. Looking forward to seeing this, thanks for being a beta tester!

California Mustang has more aftermarket products than I've seen anywhere else (at one location). Some of there prices are a bit higher though! Nice stuff!

I don't know what to think about it. It looks cool but then brings back memories of the 90's when everyone had there lights blacked out.
