Great deal. I got mine for $1295 shipped. Wheels and tires were in stock at both places I dealt with. I found CJ Pony parts last week and called them. At that time they didn't have the wheels and had to order them. But, certainly give them a try.....

Thanks for the help.

Whats this new fuel surcharge UPS and I heard FED-Ex might be charging? That could ruin a good deal.

I don't know the specifics, but saw something on the news during the week. It's either they raise the shipping rates or hit us with a fuel surcharge. Gas and Diesel prices continue to rise, costs for delivery services rise and you know who pays for it.....No end in sight unfortunately.

My car is famous!

Ha! Ha!

I've been searching around the forums for torque settings for the throttle body screws, so that I can fit my 'Powered by Ford' plenum cover. I've just been through some of the pictures where the colour has been changed. The red one with the bright silver painted Razors and the white stripes looked good in my opinion.

Although, my Mustang has changed a little since those pictures were taken. Just last weekend I got the Cervini's 'Eleanor' style hood fitted. I'm not interested in the full Cervini's kit. I just want the car to look largely stock, but enhanced to look more muscular, lower and wider. I think the look has been achieved!!!

A few of pics...

http://www.btinternet.com/~darren.ward/sideprofile.jpg

Just to confirm my setup. It's the Eibach 'Sportline' kit. The wheels are 20" Shelby Razors in the +24 offset all round. Tires are 255/35 series. I have absolutely NO rubbing whatsoever. The ride isn't bad either (still on standard shocks). In my opinion, the +12 offset would stick out too far and would possibly rub, and the +40 offset are too far inside the arches. The +24 offset puts the tire literally in line with the arch... seems to give the perfect stance.

I've got a set of FRPP struts/shocks on the way, and Steeda strut bearings. But these won't change the look of the car at all.

Again, I must say... that my car seemed to look good in all manner of colours that someone managed to change on this forum. Seems to suggest that any colour combination of Mustang will look good with this setup...

...now show me yours! Ha! Ha!

Cheers
Dazza

Hello,

Your rezors look quite dark. Are they original Gun Metal or you painted them somehow to make them looking darker?

Hi Seabiscuit,
No, they are the original colour. It might be my camera... it's a fairly good SLR camera. It takes pretty good pictures. The exposure is slightly down on most of my photographs... I don't like them too bright. This is probably why the wheels look darker...

Hi Dazza

I'm rumbled!

I guess I should have checked with you before posting pics of your car, but you know me.......I have always loved your car and always will!!! You're right though, it does look good in all the other colours, but Mineral Grey is still the best.

Cheers

No problem at all TT,
I think it's quite cool. I post enough pictures of it myself!!! I'm sure there are others elsewhere.

It's quite cool to see it in different colours... gives me some ideas for the next Mustang!

Cheers

Since the 40mm offset is inside the fender vs the 24mm you would need a really tall tire for it to rub.

Hey folks, I know I'm bumping an old thread.

I'm looking at doing a +24mm wheel with the eibach sportlines on my 2011 GT... any advice on the best tire size?

Car will never see the track, so I dont need massively wide tires, but dont want that 'stretched' look either.

Thoughts?

Zombie thread hungers...

For those of you lowered with sportlines and razors (specifically +24mm), how is the ride and is there any rubbing?

Thanks in advance!

The ride was a little harsh I will not lie. But I like a stiff ride, and I even threw 255/40/20's on the rear. It looked great and rode much better.

And no, no rubbing.

I still have the wheels and rear tires for sale if anyone is interested, willing to cut a nice deal on em' since I just want them outta my garage! (no longer have my mustang)

Did you put shocks and struts on with the sportlines or just use the stockers?

Holy Thread Revival! This brings back memories!

Mine's lowered on FRPP springs and have now rubbing issues (+24mm offset).

As above, I knew one car with Sportlines and +24mm and they had no problem either.

Ride is fine.

Starbai (Kevin).......put those Razors on your BMW

Stock shocks/struts... if you are interested in doing the Koni's or other shocks I'm told you will have much better results.

The only thing I did was a Steeda Adj, Panhard, and the Springs.

BTW, just these two things completely solved my wheel hop issues. Throwing the stickier rubber on there after that and there was zero trace of it.

They would look good on the genesis. Sad to see you went to a BMW, your stang was perfect.

It was a great car. But not really suitable for my needs at this time.

I may be back some day

PS. I still have a **** load of parts for it that I haven't gotten around to put up on the forums yet. Look at my sig if you're interested in any of the items you see... the only things I left on there when sold were the GT500 spoiler, Grille, Springs and Panhard.

Exhaust, Barton Shifter, Grabber Pony ****, custom sub box for the side of the trunk, Audio Control LCi2, etc.. etc... up for grabs if anyone interested.
