I too have been looking for a good deal on these wheels, but I have to deal with the pressure sensors which is an additional $323 at Tire Rack. I want the wheels, but am having a real hard time "pulling the trigger".

Care to pass along who you've got the better deals from on eBay? I know there are a few that are advertising the Shelby's. Some give a contact number and some don't.

When I checked with him about a month ago he said he couldn't sell the painted ones @ 475 anymore. I was able to work out a deal locally so I didn't check what his standard prices were.

Actually, I think I'm leaning towards the 40mm offset. No right or wrong. I think I like the look of the wheel under the lip a little bit.

What have you guys bought for locking lug nuts?

What do you think of the Ecsta SPT Tires?

Hey NM3, Go for the 20x9 (40 offset). Thats what I have W/245/40/20 Generals Exclaim UHP Allseason. Tucks neatly just inside the wheelwell and NO RUBBING. Did he give you a price and are getting silver, gunmetal, or chrome? Also if have the extra cash get the straps and sensors that I posted earlier. You won't regret it.

I like the 40mm version. Your pics helped. I'll be calling Darren in the AM. I'm getting the Gunmetal.

Already have the sensors on order from your source, Cory took care of me -very nice guy.

I will be getting the straps from AM.

What did you do for lug nuts?

What is your thoughts on the UHP's? They rate pretty good on TireRack, but some comments aren't so kind. I'm thinking more along the Kumho Route. But still looking/thinking. Definetely looking for best value in tires as close to $100/tire as possible. I'm certainly am not spending $200+.

Thanks a lot for your help with contacts.

NM3, I got mine from Advanced Auto. There called Spline Acorn lugNuts 1/2. Think # is 6803 (ripped package, numbers fuzzy). They worked perfectly. ( DON'T USE THE FACTORY LUGNUTS, TO BIG AROUND). As for the Generals UHP's, I love them. Rides great, low noise, and wet & dry is great ( no hydroplaning). If you can put the nitrogen in them (I did) it helps. TREADEPOT.com has good prices too. Gunmetal will look awesome on your GT/CS and can't wait to see them.

How much were the lug nuts?

Oh Yeah, and any reason you chose the 245/40-20 instead of the 255/35-20?

Thanks.

I chose the 245/40/20 tires because they are a 1'' taller tire to fill in the wheelwell to make it look lower and makes it ride better too. More sidewall less chances of pothole rim damage. It will throw off your speedometer by 1.3 mph, so when speedo reads 60 mph actual is 61.3 mph.SCT Tuner will fix this if you have one ( I don't yet). Guess you are going for same size all 4 corners so you can rotate. Hope this helps.

So you going +24

I think I'm going to go with the same tires as 2007REDFIREGT. Makes it not look like you're rolling around on rims only

Yes, I went with the 24mm version. I'm sure it will be fine as many have that version as well. I stayed with the 255/35-15 tires. I gave bonesenterprises.com a call and they fixed me up with a set of Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta. If you haven't heard about them, they are a Netherlands company that has been making tires for over 100 years. Very well respected company in Europe and very highly rated tires used on high end European cars. I just got my struts/shock delivered today. Still waiting on the springs from Steeda. Should have everything installed within a week or two. I can't wait.....
