Why I can't buy wheels...

Every time I've settled on a wheel I like and plan to purchase it seems two weeks later I've changed my mind. What I do know for certain is that I am NOT going to purchase an OEM/stock wheel - so in other words no GT500, Roush, Saleen wheels. Even though I like plenty of them I just don't want something that has come with another Mustang from factory.

So, this is where you guys come in. I want to see your wheels, or other Mustangs you've seen with different wheels. I've entertained the idea of cheap wheels, all the way over to Volk, but I'm open to anything.

Dont go cheap and I tell you! Cheap Aftermarket wheels just dont compare in quality to OEM. Constantly re balancing them over and over again.. I just bought a complete set of Ford 2010 Shelby wheels for my 2006 and cant wait to put them on the car. They were only $139.00 each...

I tried finding Super Snake style wheels for my '04 and the only ones I could find were 20" and super expensive :/

Antigini, some of my favorite wheels are TSW Willow's. You can find a picture of a 2009 mustang with a set of them on google to see what they look like.

I've sold many sets of wheels ranging from XXR(the cheap wheels) to Work, Volk, Vossen, etc. I honestly cannot find a flaw big enough to steer me away from XXR, and the fact of a cheap price is a plus just in case I change my mind months from now. What I've been leaning pretty hard toward lately are Enkei PF01's and the GTC01's. They're light weight at a great price, especially since I wholesale.

Here's what I'm looking for in a wheel...

Likely no lip. I don't want any chrome, polish, silver, etc. coloring. I've got a theme going and the wheels are the finishing piece.

18" - I was thinking about Vossen but every wheel I like is only available in 20". While I'm entertaining the idea of staggering a setup with 18" in the front and 19" in the rear, that really is the largest I'm willing to go.

They have to be black, gunmetal, hyper black/black chrome, something of that sort. I've got a black/purple thing going so the wheels need to fit in.

Something that doesn't have too thin a spoke or too few. What bugs me the most about upgrading wheels is having huge gaps between spokes that make your brakes look tiny. It'll bug me to no end...

LateModelRestoration's SVE Drifts look good and come in black. I've seen those on a few Mustangs and they look really good if you want black wheels.

Are those the Rota Grids? I do like the TE37 wheel design, but I just don't want that style because its incredibly popular and I see them a lot.

Body color or just PURPLE smoothies with chrome smooth centers and beauty rings and maybe even .... wide whites.

I looked, could find no new model Mustangs with this so best representative I can offer is ....

Finding nice fat tires with wide whites .... that's the trick I think.

Would also look awesome with plain black sidewall tires.
