Who owns a Cervini's hood?
Hi Tom, my turn to help
Couple of questions for you.......
1) How is the overall quality? I would say good to great. The shipping carton sucks. For what you pay for shipping, it should be done better.
2) Did it require alot of prep work before painting? My body shop said yes, but I wanted it show quality top and bottom. They had to resand and prime is again. It came out great. go to my got stang site for more pics
3) How much did it cost to get it painted? My guy did it pro bono, with all the prep work, it should have cost some $$$$$
4) Can you use hood struts on their hoods. I tried but it bowed my hood up so bad on one side, I had to remove them and go back to the prop rod.
Hope this helps

Great info - thanks !
Well I'll throw my 2 cents in also. I have the Concept Hood. The body shop lightly sprayed it black inside and out, block sanded it and then prime it and sanded it. They were very happy with the quality. The washer nozzles are basically worthless. I called Cervini's about the hood struts and they said it was fine. They indicated it did not require the use of hood pins also.
