Here's shots of my 06 GT with the exact setup you're talking about... 18X9 in front and 18X10 in the back. 255's in front and 285's in the rear... When I get new rear tires I'm going with at least 295's maybe even 305's.

Just out of curiosity...what the max width recommended for the 18x10s in the rear?

305's, but 315's will fit a 10" wheel with some bulging.

Tribar Pony caps for American Racing wheels

Just purchased a set of 18" wheels from American Racing. Got them from Discount Tire and when they can in, the center caps have the Shelby Cobra logo on them. Does anyone know of where I can purchase a center cap - that would fit - for these chrome wheels. The entire cap pops off (only if you have the wheel off). The cap measures approx 2.5" across - beautiful wheels, but I do not want the Shelby cap on a non-Shelby car. I inquired at Discount Tire and their response was that this cap was the only cap that American Racing makes for the Chrome bullitt DD wheels. I put 9" tires - 275's all around.
Any help would be appreciated.

the bullitt ones from american muscle should work since those rims are the same as the deep dish bullitts they sell. should have bought from american muscle, much cheaper!

I got the black dd bullets 18x9 and 18x10 with tires mounted from American Muscle. Great set of wheels and tires, perfectly balanced, and super fast shipping, only took 5 days to get them.

Sorry to steal the thread for a minute...

Michael, every time I see pics of your ride, I think to myself...damm that is one tough looking car...

What made you choose the orange carbon fiber interior detail? I would have thought a wood grain would be cleaner... but it is hard to make a good judgement from the pictures...

I considered some interior trim but have the IUP so just sticking with the black and chrome theme for now...

Thanks John, I appreciate the positive feedback. Your car looks pretty hot to. I can't wait til I get my car looking the way I want it so I can put my yellow foglight overlays back on like yours. I kinda miss the darn things lol, but until I get my superstripe the clear just looks cleaner.

As for the orange carbon fiber, I really do love it. I did want wood in the beginning, but I let forum peer pressure keep me from going that route lol. I'm actually glad now though, because i'm in the process of changing to an all black interior, and the orange and black carbon fiber looks awesome with that!

Oh yeah, and the reason I went with the orange carbon fiber is because I have plans for my car come tax season lol. First I want to drop it down at least an inch all the way around. I plan on painting the chin spoiler body colored, getting a GT/CS rear bumper, and then having a full length orange superstripe from bumper to bumper added. Then I can put my yellow fogs back on and they will blend in better. Maybe a new hood as well.

These 18" deep dish rims from American Muscle....they tend to be very close to the brake calipers when mounted. The space between wheel and brake caliper is very small. Anyhting to worry about...?

Nope...I have the 18 x 9 DDs in the back and 17 x 8s in the front. The DDs clear the brakes just fine.
