Wheel Question?
I have 17" chrome bullitts on the front with Nitto NT450 255/50 tires. How would it look with 18" chrome deep dish bullitts on the back with 255/45 tires? Also I would have to go with the Nitto 555 tire since the NT450 isn't available in 18 inch. Would there be an issue with mixing threads?
I wouldn't think that mixing tread designs would be a big deal... but I'm no expert. On lesser cars, I've had tire companies recommend to replace "just the rears" with completely different brands and treads - and I never had any problems. My concern would be the mis-matched look... but look to my name and take it for what it's worth.
It shouldn't cause any problems. You may want to run something with a bigger sidewall out back, like a 275 or 295/45/18. I think it would look goofy with a fatter tire sidewall up front.

I wouldnt think it would be a major deal to have different tires, but I wouldnt, because I like the consistent, symmetric looks. Hawgman's ride is definately awesome looking.
