Whats on the two posts of a GT spoiler?

I'm replacing my V6 Pony spoiler with one off a GT. The two posts of the GT spoiler that contact the trunk lid, what was is originally on these....3M tape or just a foam tape to seal out any water.
There was nothing on them when I got the GT takeoff and I want to mount it correctly.
Thanks,

Rick

The stock GT spoiler has 2 sided tape under the mounting posts along with the bolts. I know this because I had to remove mine to put on the GT500 spoiler. Hope this helps.

It's like a double sided sticky foam. I tried to get a part # or buy the foam when I tried to replace my spoiler, but Ford couldn't find a part # for it.
