towards the bottom. I wonder how much of a rise it has?

I would be willing to bet it ends at 3" maybe 3 1/2 total.

I don't like it. Why would you want your s197 look like a sn95? That's why you have a s197 because it's a s197!!!!!

I was looking at the same hood.After seeing that the back at the cowl area was closed except for to slotted vents I changed my mind. Its not open like a regular cowl hood.
