What are the best PNP Mustang Sequential Taillights to get? ? ? ?
webelectric: If you want PNP, then you can't disable the brake light sequencing. If you buy the weblectric splice-in kits (non PNP but also cheaper) and connect it yourself, then you have the option to stop the brake lights from sequencing by running two addition wires from the fuse box near the passenger kick panel back to the tail lights (wires were supplied in the webelectric kit with very easy to read directions). This is what I did. The whole thing took about 1 hour to install. It probably would've taken a shorter time but I did it in a parking lot at night with a flashlight and a solder gun on a long extension chord. (this was before I owned a house or garage). I also soldered instead of using the wire crimp thingies. It's really not that hard.

Not so. Check out my blog. The owner of WebElectric and myself figured this out 3 years ago on how to install the PNP kit on the new mustang and disable the brake light sequencing. Following the same instructions he now includes with the non-PNP, you can easily do the same with the PNP set.
Ha! I copmletely agree. Way too Knight Rider for me!
Don't know for sure. Some light reading back when I got these suggested that sequential turn signals are legal but sequential brake lights are illegal in some states. Best to check with your local DMV for the real answer though.
I do know that there are some older cars from the 60s or 70s that had sequential turn signals as a stock feature. I also got pulled over by a cop who was pretty upset with me but he didn't say a word about my sequential turn signals (however, I have dissabled the sequential brake light)

I got the Meter4it package last week. It will do chase, sequential, or factory. It took a couple hours to install. No biggy... all wiring and connectors are included. I think I'll go back and solder it up next week, though, just to be comfortable that I won't drop a connection.
