Mine are web electric, I got them used so I don't know the price, but they were 100% PNP, no splicing, no wiring of any sort. Just unbolt, unplug, plug in, and rebolt.

I've got the CDC ones. They're also plug and play no splicing required.

I'm kind of interested in this too, but I only want the sequencing on the turn signal and not the brake, are either of yours like that?

Nope, the brake sequence only happens once. It's not a distraction, it's attention getting. When you hit the brake, the 3rd light comes on solid and the tailights sequence in 1 second and then remain solid.

Can you set the Webelectrics to not sequence the brakes at all? I only want them for the turns if I get them.

I've had both the WebElectric (and I can speficially speak to how much OCD's sequentials cost when new!) and CDC sequentials. I'm very happy with the CDC's and was happy with the WebElectric's when I had them installed in my old 05. I suspect if I had it to do all over I'd get the WebElectric's solely because of their warranty (limited lifetime).

I have WebElectric in my 05 as well as I had them in my 99. Never had a problem and love them to this day!

On the WebElectric site they show how to do this. You connect a pair of wires to the front turn signal wires from the PCM. You run these wires back through the car to the trunk and you then cut the trigger wires on the module from the brake light wires. Then connect the wires you just ran to the module side of the trigger wires you just cut. If you use crimp on spade connectors and put the same polarity on the pair of wires you ran and the brake wire side of the trigger wires you just cut, and the opposite polarity on the module side of the trigger wires, then you can swap them back and forth for whatever effect you want. Just make sure you connect left turn signal wire to left module trigger and you will be okay.

So that's a big no for PNP on the solid brake lights then.

Any other kits that can make that in a pnp form? I'm not too crazy to hack up my wiring, or pulling up all the panels from front to back to lay two wires.

Go with webelectric for PNP, you will be doing the same removing of panels and unbolting/bolting even if you get a splice kit, only difference is no splicing. Good luck!

The Web Electric PnP are $149. They provide a postage paid box to return your core wiring and refund you $30 when they receive your package. So the bottom line is $119, I've had mine for 7 months and they work great. I believe the CDC version is more expensive.

I just installed my Web Electrics set. They have done an engineering upgrade, and they're even nicer than the ones I bought 1 1/2 ago. I love them.

It would be best to call Lawrence and he could explain better, but as a lay person like me, they took the large dynomite stick thing and made it smaller and incorperated it into the system. It used to be a seperate dangling piece. It seems to me that they are actually a slower sequence than my last let in my 06, which is great! I now have new set in my 08. Heck they were great before and just seem even better now.

webelectric: If you want PNP, then you can't disable the brake light sequencing. If you buy the weblectric splice-in kits (non PNP but also cheaper) and connect it yourself, then you have the option to stop the brake lights from sequencing by running two addition wires from the fuse box near the passenger kick panel back to the tail lights (wires were supplied in the webelectric kit with very easy to read directions). This is what I did. The whole thing took about 1 hour to install. It probably would've taken a shorter time but I did it in a parking lot at night with a flashlight and a solder gun on a long extension chord. (this was before I owned a house or garage). I also soldered instead of using the wire crimp thingies. It's really not that hard.

Not so. Check out my blog. The owner of WebElectric and myself figured this out 3 years ago on how to install the PNP kit on the new mustang and disable the brake light sequencing. Following the same instructions he now includes with the non-PNP, you can easily do the same with the PNP set.
