Ok fellow Mustang owners how much did the Eibach Pro springs drop your car?
According to thier web site its 1.3 (front) and 1.4(rear) But looking at some of the pictures in the forums here it looks like it's more in the rear can anyone confirm please?
I've done some measuring on my car and from the top of my rear tire to the bottom lip of the wheel well I have just over 3"; in the front I have just over 2".

Also if I measure the bottom of the rocker behind the front tire I have 5 1/2" and in front of the rear tire I have 6 1/2"
I would like to close the gap more in the rear (I don't like the jacked up look).
I'm wondering if the drop is the same for everyone.

Thanks,
Gordon

Good question Gordon. I have a set of Eibach springs sitting here in my house waiting for the Pony to arrive.

Just had the Eibach Pro-Kit Springs installed on my '05 Mustang GT and it dropped 1.5-inches all around, had a pro shop install them. I had read others getting from 3/4 to 1.5 inches on their installations.

Hey Riscx, when the shop finished lowering the car, did they also need to replace the camber plates and did you need a wheel alignment as well? Just wondering as there is usually more that needs done than is initially reported. Thanks.

Did you still have the stock wheels? Can you post a picture of the car and how it sits?
If I could get the back to drop 1.5 I'd be happy. It would really close that gap in the back.

This is part of the reason I was asking is because I'm getting alot of different numbers for drop, if I installed these springs and it only drops 3/4 of an inch I would not be to happy with them.

Has anyone measured the drop they get with the Steeda springs just for comparison?

I got 3/4 front and 1-1/4 in the rear with Steeda springs. It may drop a little more after I drive it a while.

I did not need any other hardware installs besides the springs, just a "minor alignment," I have heard of some people installing the Steeda springs saying they MUST/HIGHLY RECOMMENDED install struts, bars and the like which is NOT needed on the '05. The '05 suspension is totally different set-up compared to the old stangs and can handed lowering springs quite nicely.

I have the stock 17-inch "optional/upgrade" wheels right now. I have ordered some new 18s wheels and rubber, hopefuylly they will get here next week sometime.

I will try and post some picks for you guys later 2-nite, moms birthday, have to take her for a lil "joy ride"

1.5 in the rear and 1.25 in the front but that could be due to the surface the car was sitting on. At any rate, .25" is not that big of a difference.
