Water in RKSport Cali Dream Hood

Everytime I wash the car no matter how careful I am, and sometimes when it rains I get water in the vents. Has anyone drilled holes somewhere to drain it? I'm affraid to just start drilling and messing something up. However I'm getting tired of it swishing around for days when I open the hood.

I drilled a couple of holes in mine too. It's FL, it rains every other minute over here...

Where did you decide to drill on the hood? I want to make sure I drill in the right spot and not have a bunch of holes trying to find the right area.

Closer to the windsheild. I figured that if there's water, every time I accelarte, it will go out, and if I lift the hood, it would drain from there as well.

Rony, thanks for the info. I'm going to drill it this weekend.

I usually hear only one slosh per wash. I don't notice it driving around days later. I would also be interested in where to drill. Will the water actually hurt anything inside fiberglass?

No, water will not damage fiberglass. It better to drill holes close to the windshield and pick the lowess point of the hood..
