We, at DG Custom Auto, don’t paint the inside of the louvers because we try to produce quality products at an affordable price. The amount of time it would take for our painter to tape off the inside and spray either with black or paint to match, would in turn make our price to the public a lot higher.
Like I stated to Stangdaddydc we would have gladly accepted the products return and issued him a refund had he contacted us first. Steeltownstang got a refund even after he installed them on his vehicle and then deciding they had some flaws.
Our return policy is simple, if you aren’t satisfied with our product don’t install it or alter it and contact us regarding a refund. Regardless, of the negative statements Stangdaddydc has posted, we are taking his comments to heart. We are currently updating our website and EBay postings to notify potential customers that the exterior of our product is finished and the interior isn’t. Though we don’t like to hear negative comments we are always trying to improve our product as well as our customer service.
So, finally one more apology to Stangdaddydc for the apparent and overwhelming disappointment he has for our louvers and our customer service. Thanks for your time.

glad to see DGCustomAuto finally made it on here, I had to invite them, I love their products and feel they should chime in on their stuff!
As for what they just posted, I totally agree with them. If I had something wrong with my louevers I would of sent them back.
Welcome to the board DGCustomAuto!

199 I have had no problems cleaning the windows. they openings are not as tiny as the other manufacturer's louevers, the first 3 oepnings I can get in with my fingers and a paper towel with windex, the other 2 I used like a popsicle stick and a paper towel and it work, look inside and the windows are nice and clean!

I installed the black louvers on a black car in the garage and they appeared to be fine. I later pulled out of the garage and noticed several NOTICABLE dimples in both louvers, including a scuff, that were apparent in the sunlight. It was no sinister plot as they/she implied. There are many other things I'd rather do than install flawed products on a brand new vehicle and then removed them, pack them up, mail them , re-order them, re-install them, etc... What a blast!!!
How was I suppose to know that the louvers were flawed. Nowhere in the instructions, or on their web site, does it say closely examine as flaws are common... be especially careful about black...
A consumer should have reasonable expectations that a product is fine without conducting a complete inspection in the sunlight. To be honest, your customer service was not that great- and I'm being nice(biting my tongue). True, you ultimately accepted the return, for that I am grateful,
and it appears that I purchased them again from the same vender, however, not my intentions, as I liked the fitment. Speaking of "that"... What's up with the three businesses?
In concluding- For the money, they're decent louvers, however, their customer service needs some work...
If you remember Silverhorse Racing had some issues with thier cup holder covers, and Midwest Auto Gear has issues with thier strut covers. A few people returned thier mirror covers because of flaws in the paint.
When something is mass produced there is going to be x-number of items that have quality issues. Thats just a fact of mass production.
I for one would be glad to spend 99 cents on a can of black paint if in exchange I saved $100 on a part.
Everyone complaines about the high cost of aftermarket parts, well heres a guy who is trying to do something about it, and all he gets is a hard time.
