Dredd - no car is more modified by its owners than the mustang. That's it, the bottom line. We are tinkerers. Frankly, I don't like the doors, but I'm impressed you thought to go in that direction. Keep moding, keep posting, and since you have the time, money, and energy to do difficult projects, you'll come up with more than a few new ideas even DB will love!(can't hate him for bein a purist, tho)

P.S. - suicide doors would be sweet (unusual on a 2 door, but I'd love to see them at least)

I don't know. I think the car is too tall to get away with those doors. You usually only see them on cars which are much lower and sleeker. To each his own I guess. I still have my old GTS light covers stored in the basement somewhere. lol

I'd never get these doors though b/c they would just remind me of the Lamborghini I'd prefer to own ....

Dredd, How do those doors operate? Are they just hinged or pushed up by hydrolics(sp)? I would not want my leg hanging out the door in case of a door malfunction. I think that it is a very creative idea, although I personaly like them better on the Italian sports cars.

The doors defineately don't do it for me, if it cost $1,500 bones, I would have spent that kind of dough on a CDC Glassback roof instead

Not that it affects the argument, but this simply isn't true.

Nice car, bad doors. Why do people insist on putting things on this car that just don't belong. I say a V6 05 yesterday and someone slapped an aluminum spoiler on it from Canadian tire. It just screams "Follow me to my trailer park".

Not into the doors but, I will probably use the shop to install a few things... Line-Loc, exhaust, etc. Thanks Chris for taking the time to post and welcome to the board

Thanks again guys for all the comments, good and bad. Sorry I don't have time to post here quite as much as I'd like, and I am looking into sponsoring the board here soon, but until then I'll just keep hanging out when I get a chance!

The headers took a few hours to put in. The only snag with them is that the off road H-pipe DOES NOT FIT CORRECTLY WITHOUT putting in the Steeda solid motor mounts. The hangers to the H-pipe (which are a BAD dsign anyway) smack all over the floor of the car once you start it. I'm not going any further with that one, it may get unproffesional, but that issue is getting fixed. Just please, if you use these headers (which are very nice peices and fit great, the H-pipe is the problem!) remember you are going to need the solid mounts!

The car handles like you would not beleive though! There are very few I have beenn in that handle better, with such a nice ride, for the relative low cost of the setup.

I'll get some more pics up here today if I can. We've done some interesting things with the interior that you may be interested in.
