V6 upgrade to foglights

Ok I have many questions on this subject.

First of all, can I buy the GT's stock grille with the honeycomb, center pony and cutouts for foglights and expect it to fight in my V6?

Second of all, when purchasing a harness, what exactly comes with it?
Do they include the headlights as well as foglights on that one harness or are there separate harnesses for fog and headlights?

Lastly, how would these wire in to a harness and HID kit?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...55537050727095

My friend made the mistake of ordering those foglights as replacements for his stock lights. They did not fit at all. The new harness for the folight upgrade i believe includes a harness that shloukd let them operate just like the gt. But im not %100 on that. And you will need a gt headlight switch to turn them on unless you are going to have them on with your headlights all the time.

But do the harnesses like the one from street scene include the headlights as well as the foglights or just a separate one for the fog lights?

I couldnt find the harness you were talking about from street scene. But i looked up the v-6 to gt fog light front grille and it has 2 options in pull down menus for an additional harness for the lights to work and the fog light switch from ford that comes with the gt.

If you have the optional fog lights that come on some of the v6's i believe your harness and switch will work with the new fogs

Here is the link to the grill on american muscle http://www.americanmuscle.com/gtstyl...le-0509v6.html

I've read that the V6 version of that isn't the best quality and you have to relocate the horns and cut off the radiator support.

The $200 "GT Style V6 Grille" on AmericanMuscle.

Would it be possible to put the stock GT grille in there with some modification?

The GT grill and the V6 grill are different because the nose is different . If you put them both side to side you can spot the subtle differences. The post between the grill and the headlight is a bit wider on the V6 and also the GT grill sits directly above the bumper , the V6 grill sits above a small raised portion above the bumper. So basically, you can make a V6 grill work on a GT but I dont think the GT grill will fit on V6.

I swapped my v6 grill out for a "GT Style" grill.....I think I got mine from Blue Oval industries I think. The harness hooked up to the headlights but does not replace the headlight controls, it is just used to sense that the brights are on and opens the circuitto the fogs and turns them off. I did have to shave the radiator support and relocate my horn, not much trouble just irratating because they didn't say anything about that when I placed my order. Over all though very happy with the look, and actually pretty easy to install.
